Why would a current, certified childbirth educator want to take this seminar?

Lamaze certification is the GOLD STANDARD of childbirth education.  Being certified through any organization might allow you to meet the MINIMUM requirements of your employer, and it might be easy and convenient to attain, but in a professional setting, it is simply not enough.  Adding the Lamaze credential is a wise investment into your career.  It is the VERY BEST you can do for yourself as a professional childbirth educator.   We guarantee you will add a plethora of teaching ideas, activities, and content to your childbirth education class.

Family Trees Lamaze-Accredited Program prides itself in top-of-the-line teaching activities created and facilitated by a professional educator.  While other childbirth educator training programs might get you the minimum credential you need to begin teaching, Family Trees Lamaze-Accredited Program will prepare you to fill your classes, get parents excited about your class, and create students who are informed consumers in their own healthcare.   This is about improving outcomes for our parents.

If you are a childbirth educator clicking your way through the PowerPoint of a purchased childbirth education curriculum, it's time to invest in yourself as a professional.

You deserve to be the gold standard, absolute best, professional childbirth educator.  Don't settle for less.
Interested in starting a new, rewarding career?

There are no professional prerequisites required for our Lamaze Childbirth Educator Seminar. Our students represent a variety of backgrounds.

Since 2015, Family Trees has trained physicians, professors, midwives, nurses/nurse managers, doulas, stay-at-home mothers, childbirth educators, EMTs, bakers, bankers, stay-at-home fathers, accountants, government employees, social workers, football coach, airline employees, nutritionists, veterinarians, writers, AWHONN employees, phlebotomist, Reiki Masters, CEOs, engineers, physical therapists, graphic designers, CDC employees, massage therapists, occupational therapists, college students, IBCLCs, CLCs, film producers, WIC employees, and a middle school student (just to name a few).

There's room for EVERYONE at our seminar.  After completing the seminar, students will have everything they need to prepare for Lamaze certification regardless of their prior education or career.

There are not many careers where a small investment into your training and certification will be earned back almost immediately.  Becoming a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator (LCCE) is one of them.  The investment you make towards this seminar will allow you to begin teaching childbirth classes right away* .  Teaching three or four expecting couples will offer a return on your seminar investment.

* You may not call yourself Lamaze Certified, and you may not call your class a Lamaze class until you pass the Lamaze exam.

That said, we realize that investing in the seminar is not a possibility for everyone.  We want to make that easier.  We know what kind of professional doors this certification can open for people.  We know this certification can change lives - yours, and those of the families you will teach.  We do not take that lightly.  We know you need to be here, you are needed here, and we want you here.
