Join birth professionals from around the world for weekly lectures and discussions surrounding pregnancy, labor, birth, postpartum, breastfeeding, newborn care, and early parenting. Discussions consist of prepared lectures and time for Q&A and are appropriate for anyone with a passion in birth, babies, and birthing people.
We meet on Zoom every Wednesday, 7-8 pm EST (NYC time zone).

But here in the US, midwifery is quite complicated - different types of midwives, various pathways to certification (or not to certify in some instances), individual state recognition and licensure, just to name a few obstacles. What does this mean for birthing people? A lot.
This lecture will dive into important considerations for midwifery care in the US.
